9:56 am - Good weekend all around

Bullet points:
* Happy birthday to my fellow late-season Tauri, selayna, halfway_back, and bariklef!
* Kudos to nyquil_driver for hosting a marvelous shindig. I was in a kind of social withdrawal, and it was good seeing so much of the crew again. Dan, also MAJOR kudos to the home improvements. The hard work shows, especially with the wooden ceiling work!
* Huge thanks to ornythopter for his heavy lifting ability and assistance in constructing big-size bookshelves! It was a considerable undertaking, to say the least. :D I know I built the chest of drawers without you, but I guess I just like building stuff that isn't too involved. :) I just couldn't leave the boxes unopened, ya know?
* Thanks to mikoto and promethius for offering to take my old dresser off my hands... it's still in good condition, save for a bit of wear on the finish. We'll make arrangements for the changing of hands soon.
* W00t to all of our friends that are now new homeowners! Make those places your own, and show them off to us as soon as possible!
The one downside of the weekend... BRUTAL traffic on 76 coming back from the IKEA run. Sucked harder than an industrial vacuum pump. That's what I get for not checking traffic updates.
This week: Inservice training, furloughs, and other silliness.
